I’ve been busy lately. Last week I took a trip to Atlanta and back, Macon and back, then I flew to Chicago and back. I’m a little on the tired side but it’s a good tired. Abby (grand daughter) is starting school this week so I wanted to plan a back to school picnic for her because I feel bad about the time I missed with her last week. But again, I’m a little on the tired side. For those of you who don’t know it, Tiffany at It’s Totally Tiffany is Abby’s mom and she was more than willing to come along as well. All I had to say was Marco’s Pizza, lol. We’re big fans around here.
What’s better than cooking for a picnic when you’re tired and our favorite food is pizza? Not cooking and heading to Marco’s Pizza of course. So that’s what we did today. July is National picnic month and I wanted to get in one more picnic before school starts. It doesn’t matter that we’ve been on a half a dozen picnics already, today was our first Marco’s Pizza picnic this summer and I wanted to make it one to remember.
I woke up and called Marco’s Pizza to let them know what time I’d be there to pick up a nice hot pizza and I set about planning this last minute picnic of the summer. They were gracious and friendly and had everything ready when we arrived. Did you know that you could also order Marco’s Pizza online? Abby was so excited all morning waiting for the time we had to leave, and I have to admit, I was too, as was Tiffany.
Marco’s Pizza is a family favorite and I’m lucky to have several near by. 4 to be exact, within a short distance. They did not disappoint in preparing our picnic delights, not that they never have. Abby was feeling the love and she ate and I was feeling so thankful that she didn’t complain once that school is starting back this week, lol. There’s still plenty of warm weather left this year to plan your own summer pizza picnic so be sure to keep Marco’s Pizza in mind. All the fun without the work. The Ultimate Magnifico was absolutely amazing. Every. Single. Bite.
We played a little kick ball and threw the frisbee around. Abby got to play on the playground it was a gorgeous day for a picnic. I can’t think of a better way to end July than with a Marco’s Pizza picnic. Abby can take these memories with her as she starts a brand new school year in the 4th grade. My time flies.
