This post is a sponsored post. Regardless, my 100% opinion is given.
A couple of years ago I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. My trusty and much-loved car was totaled. For a few months, I was terrified of getting back in a vehicle, either to ride as a passenger or to drive. It didn’t take me long to realize what an inconvenience it was by not having a vehicle. I’d had my car for so long that I had forgotten what an ordeal my car buying experience could be like. Finding the right car is an extremely long and challenging process. There are so many different resources with competing information about what you need to look for when shopping for a new car. I visited car dealerships in my area as well as online sites like cars.com. At the time, I wasn’t familiar with this site. My sister told me about it and she highly recommended it. Taking her advice was the best thing I could have done in my search for a new vehicle. Their videos & reviews feature helped me more than you can imagine.
Unlike some places, cars.com don’t sugar coat or hide the bad reviews of cars. I wanted to know the good and the bad to make a better-informed decision on my purchase. I was especially grateful that cars.com has 3 certified child passenger safety technicians who install and write their Car Seat Checks. With the kids still in car seats and booster seats, I wanted to make sure I was getting the safest ride I could for all of us. By the time I purchased my car, I felt like I was so much more educated than when I started my journey. I didn’t stick to just one dealership, but instead, I looked at various ones. Buying a car is an investment that needs to be thought out before shelling out the big dollars. Even deciding on whether you want a new or used car can be intimidating. Because I was leaning towards a used car, I learned that looking at competing prices is especially important for used cars.
I’m glad I didn’t have to go through this journey alone. Between family and friends advice and all of the amazing things I learned off of my research, I feel like I made the best purchase for my money, safety and budget wise.
