Dealing With Baldness

Image

As we get older, our bodies go through many changes. One of the main things which happens to men is that we start to lose our hair.

Baldness is a natural part of life and it is nothing to be ashamed of, however many of us do struggle with changes in our appearance and we can often lose confidence. However there are ways to deal with going bald and not lose your dignity.

Choose the right products

If you want to deal with going bald you need to make sure you use the right products for your styling. This can include things like Manly Matters razors to shave off the remaining hair and keep it groomed. You can also buy products like Minoxidil (Rogaine) which you can get over the counter and regrow hair. It depends whether or not you want to try and maintain your hair or whether you are okay with shaving it off and embracing your new look.

Have a change of style

If you don’t have any luck with the hair treatments or you just feel as if you don’t suit a completely hairless head you can always try to change your hairstyle to something new. If you are beginning to see a receding hairline or you are missing patches then you can always take a trip to a good barber and they will be able to help you find a style which you can pull off during this time. Eventually you will find that you might prefer a bald head, but for the meantime you can try something new and still look stylish.

Consider transplants

When you start to lose your hair you might start to worry about how you will look without it. It is understandable if you have always suited a particular style that the idea of change is scary, and if you hate the idea of having no hair you can look to get hair transplants instead. Sure, it might not be the cheapest solution but if you gain your confidence back from it, it is totally worth the investment. Usually the process will involve relocating hairs from the back or sides of your head to the front. It is a simple procedure and can give you a whole new lease of life.

Grow facial hair

If you are feeling a little blue about losing the hair on top of your head, you can flip around our style and grow your hair in your chin instead. It might sound a little bit counterintuitive to start growing a beard when you go bald, but it can be a drastic change which makes a big difference to your overall look. Don’t worry, you won’t look like a hipster- you will look more like a Viking, actually. It can be the making of you and can really create your personal sense of style. Before you know it you will be more confident than you have ever been before and it will give you a new lease of life!
